Service Updates

Cadent Gas Works – Bourne (from Monday 03 Aug 2026)

201 202 buses currently unable to call at the Bourne West Street/Dentist bus stop due to the closure of North Street. Alternative bus stops West Road/Manor Lane and Bourne Bus Station.

Cadent Gas Works – Bourne (from Thursday 23 July 2026)

Cadent Gas will be carrying out essential gas mains replacement works in Bourne from Thursday 23 July 2026. The works are expected to continue for approximately nine weeks and will be delivered in the following phases (please note that all timings are approximate and subject to change).

Week 1

  • Bourne Market Place bus stop (southbound only) suspended. Alternative temporary bus stop on South Street opposite the Memorial Gardens or the Bus Station.
  • Road closure on Abbey Road.
  • Some carriageway incursions at the junctions of West Street, North Street and South Street.
  • Buses will access the Bus Station via Meadow Drove and Mill Drove.

Weeks 2–4

  • Bourne Market Place bus stops suspended. 
  • Road closure on North Street (between the junctions of West Street/South Street and the Bus Station entrance).
  • Closures at:
  • North Street/Wherry's Lane
  • North Street/Burghley Street

101/2 and 302 Services:

  • Will divert via St Gilbert's Road, Exeter Street and West Street in both directions.
  • Alternative temporary bus stop (southbound only) on South Street opposite the Memorial Gardens or the Bus Station.

201/2 Service:

  • Will divert via St Gilbert's Road, Exeter Street and West Street.
  • The Dentist bus stop will not be served in either direction.

Week 5

  • Temporary four-way traffic signals on:
  • North Street
  • St Gilbert's Road
  • Harrington Street
  • Christopher Lane
  • Delays to all services using this area should be expected.

Weeks 6–9

  • Cadent's works will continue under traffic management, however no significant impact to Delaine bus services is currently expected.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience whilst these essential works are completed.

101 102 Northborough & Glinton Service Update:

03/08/26 : Northborough, Lincoln Road is now open as normal.

22/07/26 : 101 buses will resume service via Northborough and Glinton from this afternoon.

22/07/26 : 102 buses only will resume service via Northborough and Glinton from this morning.

21/07/26 : We appreciate that the current disruption has been frustrating for our customers and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We are currently liaising with Peterborough Highways regarding the closure and suitable diversion routes. We will provide a further update as soon as we have more information on when normal services are expected to resume.

20/07/26 : All buses unable to call at Northborough and Glinton until further notice due to a road closure. Alternative bus stops on Deeping Gate or Werrington Parkway/Waterworks Lane.
