COVID-19 : STUDENT SEASON TICKETS CREDIT / REFUND POLICY 2020/21


Following Government Guidance in January for the closure of schools to the majority of Students until further notice.


STUDENT TERMS 3 & 4 SEASON TICKET 2020-21

Until the actual period of the closure of schools has been ascertained, we are unable to determine the element of the unused value for holders of a valid Term 3 & 4 Season Ticket.

If Students return to classes before the end of Term 4, the applicable credit will be calculated pro-rata as set out in 5.4.13 of our Terms & Conditions (exc the Admin Fee which will be waived). Any applicable credit will be applied when you make your next Season Ticket purchase for the original holder. Please retain your current ticket as the serial number will be required as part of the refund process, so keep this in a safe place.


CREDITS:

After making your next Season Ticket purchase please reply to the order confirmation email with the serial number of the Spring Term Ticket (found at the bottom of the ticket) the applicable credit will be processed within two working days and refunded back to the original payment card.


STUDENT ANNUAL SEASON TICKET 2020-21


Until the actual period of the closure of schools has been ascertained, we are unable to determine the element of the unused value for holders of a valid 2020-21 Student Annual Season Ticket. In the event Students return to classes after the February Half Term, the six week closure will be broadly covered by the discount factor.


No applicable Credits or Refunds will be considered until the scheduled/actual end of Term 6 whichever is the latter. At this point the credit value on the ticket will be calculated pro-rata as set out in 5.4.13 of our Terms & Conditions (exc the Admin Fee which will be waived).

CREDITS:


Years 7-12: Any applicable credit will be applied when you make your next Season Ticket purchase for the original holder. Please retain your current ticket as the serial number will be required as part of the refund process, so keep this in a safe place.


REFUNDS will only be available to:


Year 11 Students who have not taken up the credit offer once the 2021-22 Academic Year commences, will become eligible for a refund, once a Parent/Guardian has given the school permission to confirm to us upon request that they have not enrolled for Year 12.


Year 13 Students will be eligible for a refund, once a Parent/Guardian has either provided us with proof of age (a copy of a birth certificate or passport is acceptable) or given the school permission to confirm to us upon request that they were a Year 13 Student in the Academic Year 2020-2021.


A Parent/Guardian of a Student eligible for a refund will need to apply by email to office@delainebuses.com

For security reasons you will receive a response from us and be asked a number of security questions to verify your identity before we can process your application. This will include your Season Ticket serial number which can be found at the bottom of your current ticket, so please keep this in a safe place.
